Ghana winger Christian Atsu is expected to be fit for Bournemouth’s friendly against Coventry City FC today after recovering from a back injury.
The 23-year-old Chelsea loanee abandoned Tuesday’s night’s pre-season friendly game against Yeovil Town which the Boscombes won 3-0.
Manager Eddie Howe has had the former FC Porto starlet back to training after he recovered from the back injury that rued his game on Tuesday.
Bournemouth will take on Championship side Coventry City in their last pre-season game and Atsu is expected to play active part in the game.
Howe will use the game to sketch the contours of his preferred starting line to open their Premier League campaign against Aston Villa at the Vitality Stadium on August 8.
