Ghana midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu has described youngster Christian Atsu as a genius and believes he has justified his inclusion.
The FC Porto youngster came off the bench to score on his international debut as Ghana thrashed Lesotho 7-0 in the 2014 World Cup qualifier on Friday.
Atsu replaced stand-in captain Sulley Muntari deep into the second half and curled home a sensational strike on the 85th minute mark.
The 20-year-old who was named Rio Ave best player of the season award nearly grabbed a brace but his effort stopped by the Lesotho goalkeeper.
Badu believes Atsu has come to stay in the Black Stars
"He's a great chap. I really love his style of play and he is a wonderful player," the Udinese enforcer told MTNFootball.com
"He's always at his best and I knew it long time that when he gets the chance he is going to impress and he did just that."
