Awudu Issaka has been spared the arduous task of finding a new club and would need to prove himself as a quality signing for Tema Youth in the club?s remaining match roster.
The former national star has had his name taken off the club?s unwanted list after deliberations with the club?s management over his future last week.
Awudu Issaka was part of a fifteen-man list who were to be offloaded by the premiership debutants ahead of the second round of the league.
The player has enjoyed less playing time with Tema Youth after an ankle injury had contributed to his confinement on the sidelines at the beginning of the season.
However club sources stated that the former national star was not focused on playing after his injury had healed.
The player only featured in one league game for the club, playing in Tema Youth?s away fixture at the Swedru park against Feyenoord Academy. But he was taken off after the first half.
Awudu Issaka after an unsuccessful spell in Europe over a decade ago returned to the country to continue with his playing career.
