Spain international Pedro opened the scoring for Chelsea in 5 minutes before Eden Hazard increased the tally nine minutes before the interval.
But Tommy Elphick halved the scoring for Bournemouth before the break with an exquisite finish on the 36th minute mark. But Fabregas restored Chelsea's 2-goal margin lead.
Eden Hazard then rounded off the win for Chelsea with a stoppage-time finish.
