Black Princesses arrive in Saitama to play China

Saitama, Aug. 24, GNA- Ghana’s Black Princesses arrived in Saitama early Friday ahead of their last group D game against China at the ongoing FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in Japan.

The Princesses who have lost their first two games to the United States and Germany will be on a redemption mission when they come up against the Chinese who held America to a one all drawn game on Thursday.

Ghana will be seeking to bow out of the tournament with grace following the 4-0 humiliating result against the United States and a further lone goal defeat to the defending champions, Germany.

The game in Saitema will be played simultaneously with the one involving Group D leaders Germany and the second placed Americans to determine which teams qualify out of the group.

Germany sits at the summit of Group D on six points following their 4-0 drubbing of China and the 1-0 victory over the Princesses who sit at the foot of the table with zero point and no goal.

This is the second time the Princesses are exiting the competition at the group phase following a similar story in Germany 2010, their maiden appearance at the biennial competition
