Blackburn Rovers are interested in signing midfielder Prince Boateng during the January window, according to reports.
Boateng is one of the players touted as a potential departure as the cash-strapped Blues bid to raise funds.
The former German under-21 international was not selected for his chosen country Ghana for this month's African Cup of Nations.
He delivered several sensational displays for the Blues after switching from Harry Redknapp's Spurs.
But he has not had the same impact during Avram Grant's tenure in recent matches.
German side Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with a move for Boateng after being priced out by Spurs in the summer.
Dortmund coach Jürgen Klopp said: 'We just did not have the money, which was demanded by his club Tottenham. If we had the money tomorrow, he would be back tomorrow.'
