Ghana striker Richmond Boakye-Yiadom scored the opener for Sassuolo Calcio who posted a 2-0 win over Modena in the Italian Serie B on Friday.
The 21-year-old was denied twice from opening the scoring for the Green and Blacks before he finally broke the deadlock on the 32nd minute mark.
Boakye played a quick one-two with Andrea Catellani inside the box who returned a pass to the Juventus loanee who angled a low drive to the near post.
He has now taken his season tally to seven goals.
Compatriot Yussif Raman Chibsah was an unused substitute.
