Bonney deal has been concluded – Dramani

Asante Kotoko head coach Mas-Ud Dramani has confirmed that the club has sealed a deal for Unistar Academy full back Christopher Bonney.

He told Angel FM that Bonney was one of the players he penciled down, noting that the club need strategic recruitments.

“Sure for Bonney it has been concluded. He is one of the players I penciled down. We do not have to buy many players. We needed some strategic recruitment plan for the team because we are entering into three competitions and it is important that we get players of the right quality,” the coach said.

Dramani also told Angel FM that he has been in regular contact with Asante Kotoko’s interim boss Opoku Nti during his time out of the country, hinting that the club might also look outside Ghana for some players.

Dramani revealed that Asante Kotoko will undergo pre-season training outside Kumasi in a bid to not only give the players the needed focus, but also give the players a change of environment.
