CAF Approves Coronation Park

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) on Tuesday approved Sunyani Coronation Park for Ghanaian Clubs to use for their African Club Competitions.

CAF?S inspection team headed by its director of communications, Sulemana Habuba was in Sunyani on Saturday where they inspected facilities available at the coronation park. After the inspection CAF communicated to the Ghana Football Association that, they were satisfied with the facilities available and have therefore approved the park.

By this development it is now confirmed that Berekum Arsenal will play its confederations second leg match against Diables Noirs of Congo on Sunday at the coronation park.

In a related development CAF?s inspection Team failed to approve the Cape Coast Coronation Park for use by King Faisal Babes. As result this latest se-back, the Kumasi-based Club have applied to use the Sunyani Coronation Park, which has seen a tremendous improvement over the last couple of days, for their match against Association Sportive de Bamako at the Sunyani coronation park on Saturday.
