Former New Edubiase United centre back Carlos Koffie has joined division one outfit Real Athletico on a short term deal. Koffie, who is a free agent, finalized the deal with the Tema-based side early this week. He told footy-ghana.com that he is aiming to use his spell to keep fit, as well as trying to help his new club win promotion to the Premier League.
"It is a team that is close to me, so when I left New Edubiase United I made up my mind to join them. I will play for them for the next six months.
“I want to help them win promotion to the Premier League. That is one main reason why I joined them, and also to gain match fitness. I am happy to be here. I know there are a lot of talents here.’’
