Chairman of Dwarfs rescinds decision to quit

Cape Coast, Jan. 10. GNA - The Chairman of Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs Football Club, Mr George Tachie-Menson has rescinded his decision to resign from the Club.

Mr Tachie-Menson in a press statement on Wednesday at Cape Coast said his decision follows the intervention and advice of Osabarimba Kwesi Atta II, Omanhene of Oguaa Traditional Area and the Chief Patron of the Club. The Chairman rendered his apology to especially the Patron and other supporters of the Club whom he said his resignation offended adding that, "I hereby withdraw my letter of resignation as Chairman of Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs F/C with immediate effect". It would be recalled that barely a week ago, Tachie-Menson resigned as Chairman of the Club saying that he could not remain in the Club once Nana Brew Butler doubles as the sole shareholder and Chairman of the Board of Directors.

Mr Tachie-Menson also accused Nana Butler for not allowing more Directors to be appointed to contribute financially towards the upkeep of the Club pointing out that even though a new league season would start in February, the Club has no funds to pay the arrears of the allowances of the players. He regretted that the Club has not even been able to collect the cards of prospective players for registration.
