Berekum Chelsea coach Tony Lokko says his side will need to double their efforts against FC Atlabara in their CAF Champions League return leg next week.
They stormed to a 2-0 victory over their South Sudanese counterparts in the preliminary qualifying round first leg tie.
But they will have to do that without two-goal hero Samuel Jackson Owusu who received a silly red card in added on time.
“We are very glad with the performance but it is just the first half of the tie. We have to work hard to get to the next stage of the competition in Sudan”
“From what we saw yesterday, we will have to do better than we did o make it to the next stage of the competition.”
Berekum Chelsea are parading a relatively younger squad than the team which reached the Group stage of the competition in 2012.
The winner of the two-legged tie will progress to face either Al Ahly Benghazi (Libya) or Foullah Edifice from Chad.
