Chelsea get ready for Africa

Berekum Chelsea's preparation for next year’s African Champions’ League has been given further boost by the signing of two more experienced players, Papa Arko and Jordan Opoku. Chelsea is the most attractive team in Ghana that every Ghanaian player wishes to play for.

The team don't want to repeat the poor performance of Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko in past Champions’ Leagues that cost Ghana losing one slot. After Accra Hearts of Oak’s tremendous success in the 2000 Champions League, l don't remember the last time a Ghanaian club went beyond the group stage of this prestigious tournament.

Looking at the experienced players Chelsea are parading for the tournament, I believe they are on course to change the fate of Ghana in Africa this time. Charles Taylor, Ernest Papa Arko, Jordan Opoku, Habib Mohammed, Emmanuel Clottey, Ernest Sowah are not mere strangers in African football and they have the exposure to conquer any team they meet.

The kind of materials you select for Africa is foundation for the kind of results you will receive that’s why Aduana Stars failed in their first attempt because they only relied upon their local squad which is the mistake Chelsea don't want to do.
