Coach Addo dissatisfied with team despite win

Herbert Addo, Head coach of Accra Hearts of Oak has expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of his players despite their emphatic 2-0 nil win over city rivals Accra Great Olympics on Sunday.

Speaking to the GNA Sports, Coach Addo said "my boys committed too many mistakes in the game and we need to work on them before Sunday". The coach said the mistakes were due to their desire to avoid injury in order to be fit for their match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko next Sunday.

Coach Addo said some of his key players such Charles Taylor, Massawudu Mumuni and Dan Oppong are on the injury list, hence his inability to parade a full squad in Sunday's match. According to the Coach the players looked too dull in the game and this resulted in pressure being put on them for most parts of the game.

He expressed the confidence that all mistakes would be corrected before their match against Kotoko adding "my players on injury list would also be battle ready before the all important match".

Commenting on the match against Kotoko, he said the match is a very important one which very body would like to see and they are also attaching importance to it.
