Coach Dadzie to promote Princesses to senior team

Majority of the players at the national female U-20 team, the Black Princesses will be re-united with coach Kuuku Dadzie at the senior side, the Black Queens.

This revelation was made by the ex Ghana international who was on Friday elevated to replicate to transform the Queens who have in recent years been on a downward trend.

“Most of the players at the Princess would by now be over 20-years and therefore very much eligible to play for the senior team,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“Those who are not yet over 20 and their performance is good enough for the senior team would also be given the chance to feature for the Black Queens while they also play for the U-20 team.

“I am only interested in getting quality materials to play for the Black Queens to make them successful so if it takes a wholesale promotion of the juniors then so be it.

“But I am also aware of some good senior players so we will try to infuse them so we can get a solid team for the Black Queens.”

Dadzie led the U-20 side to an historic silver medal at the All Africa Games in September where he competed with the senior teams of the other participants.

He will sign a two-year contract with the Ghana FA and will be tasked to restore Ghana’s place in Africa and World football.
