Coach Sackey fumes over unpaid salaries

Hiroshima, Aug 24, GNA- Coach of Ghana’s Black Princesses, Robert Sackey is livid with his unpaid salaries by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) insisting the act is demotivational.
Coach Sackey has not be paid his wages for the past 10 months with the United State based trainer quizzing how officialdom expects him to survive with a family to look after.
‘I have got a family to take care of. How am I supposed to survive and have peace of mind to work. How will you feel if at where you work you do not get paid for this long’?, he quizzed.
Coach Sackey contracted by the GFA last year on a full time basis is on a 3000 dollars monthly salary.
He described the situation as frustrating insisting it has found a way to demotivate him.
‘This is a very bad practice and I do not know how any body can expect positive results with this attitude.’
Information piece together by the GNA Sports indicate Coach Sackey is one of all the local Coaches yet to received their salaries in as many month now.
The Coach who is leading the Princesses making a second appearance at the FIFA U-20 Female World Cup has seen his side whipped badly after losing 0-4 to the US in their Group D opener and a further 0-1 to Germany to effectively crush out of the bianniel global gathering.
This is the first time Coach Sackey is coaching in Ghana on a full times bases haven served as a SPY for Ghana when the Black Stars made a maiden appearance at the FIFA World Cup in Germany in 2006.
The GFA in 2011 appointed coaches for all the national teams apart from the Black Stars with the head coaches on permanent appointment.
While the head coaches act as full time employers, their assistance have the liberty to be involved in other engagements.
