According to press reports, Real Madrid have finally completed the signing of Ghanaian youngster, Daniel Opare. The young defender was born on October 18th, 1990 in Accra and plays as a right-back with Ghana national football team.
Real have beaten a number of clubs to sign the Ashanti Gold SC defender. He came to prominence in the 2007 Under-17 World Cup, and has since then impressed many clubs and Los Blancos has been one of them.
The deal is believed to worth €1.5million and the 17-year-old is said to have agreed a six-year deal with the Whites.
Opare told the Spanish media:
“For me to play in Europe is a dream, The offer of Real Madrid was more interesting to my club.”
Obviously, Real Madrid don’t need a new defender at the moment, But the Spanish Champions could find the benefit of this deal in the future.
