David Accam lauds unity in Black Stars camp

Ghana attacker, David Accam says he is enjoying himself in the Black Stars pre-World Cup camp due to the admirable team spirit.

The Helsingborg player who has been impressive in Sweden in the last few months was one of the surprise elements during the naming of the provisional World Cup squad.

The Right to Dream Academy product told Ghana FA’s communication directorate that he loves the atmosphere in camp at Arnhem in Holland.

“The atmosphere here is superb. Everyone is the same, we talk to each other, we make fun, we joke on the pitch and I think the friendship among us is one of the best,” he said.

“I am learning a lot from Essien, Atsu and Muntari. It doesn’t matter whether they are big players or small, you just have to learn from them.

“But I will say I am learning a lot from Muntari. His experience, composure and leadership are great,” Accam added.

The 23-year-old went ahead to admit that he needs to work extra hard to make the final 23-man squad.
