Dede: I am not leaving Marseille

The 23-year-old says he does not want to rush his move from France, hoping to improve and “become a better player”

Ghana international Andre Ayew has served notice he will be staying at Olympique Marseille, despite reported interests from English clubs.

The winger has told L'Equipe he “is in no rush to leave” and wants to keep up with his progression process at the Stade Velodrome.

The 2009 Under-20 World Cup gold medalist refuted claims that no club is after his signature at the moment.

“Who told you that no big club was interested in me? Is the transfer window over there?” the left-footed player queried.

“It is not my intention to leave Marseille. I am happy here. But if I say I want to leave, there will be offers.”

Ayew has been linked with interests from Arsenal and Liverpool over the years. He stated he had “always loved England, but I am in no rush.”

“You can dream of playing at a higher level, especially at my age, but the most important thing is to carry on improving and become a better player in your position.”
