Derby dismiss Christian Atsu rumours

Christian Atsu will return to Everton as soon as his African Nations Cup adventure is over.
Reports claimed the on-loan winger would be joining Derby County at the end of the month as the parent club Chelsea were unhappy with his lack of game-time at Goodison.
But Rams boss Steve McClaren dismissed the reports.
“I know him from Vitesse Arnhem in Holland but no, no interest in him,” he said.
Atsu has started just four matches at Everton - limping off 11 minutes into his last appearance against Krasnodar with a hamstring injury.
He recovered in time to join Ghana’s African Nations Cup campaign, but after losing their opening clash to a last minute Senegal goal the Black Stars must bounce back quickly against Algeria.
Atsu won a penalty which gave Ghana the lead, but also missed a glorious opportunity to double the advantage before Senegal hit back to win.
“Nobody goes into a game to miss a chance but these kind of situations happen in games all the time,” he said.
“My intention was to score and make all Ghanaian happy but it didn’t work like that.
“If I had scored it would have been two goals and would have been very good for us.
“These kind of these happen and we lost the game. It is behind us now, and we are now focusing on our next game.”
That comes against tournament favourites Algeria, who opened their Cup of Nations campaign with a come-from-behind 3-1 win over South Africa.
