Didi Dramani defends tactics

Coach Mas-ud Didi Dramani has strongly defended his tactics in the friendly matches against both Inter Allies and Ashantigold.

The ‘Porcupine Warriors’ came from a two goal down last Tuesday to beat fellow premier league colleagues Inter Allies 3-2 at the Tema stadium.

They were however dealt a big blow on Sunday as they failed to produce anything meaningful in terms of goal scoring losing 2-0 at the Baba Yara stadium to Ashantigold.

After both matches, there have been talking points on the frailty of the Kotoko defense in recent times as they have conceded in almost every friendly match they have played in.

But the coach has pointed out that, the team was going through a time whereby they have to try out several strategies, formations and players in different positions before the season proper starts, adding that it was necessary to experiment particularly at this time that, there are no competitive games.

“We are trying to do many things. It is not wrong trying many things so the players can adapt. It is not wrong to experiment tactics and this is very situational. It is going to continue,” he said.
