Dramani: Yahaya’s absence won’t affect Kotoko

Asante Kotoko coach Didi Dramani insists the absence of his in-form striker Yahaya Mohammed will not have any adverse effect on the Porcupine Warriors.

The former Tema Youth attacking midfielder after the CHAN tournament in South Africa signed a pre-contract agreement with Libya giants Ittihad Tripoli.

Dramani has told the local media that he has equally good players who can fit into the boots of Mohammed in their quest to retain the domestic elite title for the 23rd time.

“Since he left to Libya we managed to win two matches on the throttle so that shows that we have equally good players on the benches,” Dramani observed.

“This is a fine opportunity for others to showcase what they also got to contribute to make this season a success.”

The Local Black Stars striker has less than six months left on his contract with the Porcupine Warriors making it possible for him to hold discussion with any club.

Kotoko won their last Premier League game against Ebusua Dwarfs to open a 10-point gap on the log.
