Dreams FC completed their fairytale journey from the depths of Division Two to the heights of the Premier League on Sunday despite losing 2-1 to Kotoku Royals in match-day 28 of the GN Bank division one League.
The Club, financed by Ghana MTN FA Cup Committee member, Kur Okraku, were able to qualify for next season’s First Capital Plus Premier League having secured 53 points after 28 matches, 7 points more than closest challengers King Solomon who also suffered a 2-0 loss at the hands of Okwawu United.
Dreams FC has churned out several top talents including new Chelsea recruit, Baba Rahman who skippered the side less than 5 seasons ago.
The promotion, completes a remarkable transformation for the Kweiman-based club who only sprung up a few years ago and were known largely as a youth side.
Dreams FC were able to record 16 wins, 5 losses and 6 draws to book a place in next season’s First Capital plus Premier League.
