Cape Coast, Sept. 11, GNA - Cape Coast Mysterious Dwarfs pipped their local rivals, Venomous Vipers, 1-0 to lift the 'Atta Mills Cup' in a special soccer match to round off the celebration of the Fetu Afahye festival at the Robert Mensah sports stadium.

Vipers who beat Dwarfs 1-0 to collect the 'Akyianu Cup' in a similar match last year and also beat them 5-4 on penalties to grab the 50th Anniversary Cup, were tipped as the hot favourites to win the match but to their surprise they went home disappointed.

Dawson, after collecting a midfield pass delivered a well-measured long range shot from 30 yards straight into the net.

Vipers dominated the greater part of the second half and led in attack by Anthony Davis, they pinned Dwarfs unto their own half as they made several efforts to equalize but the iron-clad defence of Dwarfs pivoted around Kofi Mawuli foiled all their attempts at goal till the end of proceedings.
