Ebusua Dwarfs have promised to shock Medeama in their own backyard on Sunday in the First Capital Plus Premier League clash.
The Cape-Coast based club is at the foot of the table but retain games in hand. Dwarfs need the win badly to ease their relegation worries after amassing 17 points from 18 matches played.
The two teams played out a pulsating 1-1 draw in the corresponding fixture last year.
“We are picking up all three points against Medeama this weekend,” Dwarfs spokesperson Adjetey-Dzane said on Citi FM.
“At this point in time we don’t care about the statue of the opposition we need to start picking up points.”
Twelve points separate Dwarfs and Medeama who are 4th on the league table. Dwarfs endured a miserable outing in the CAF Confederation Cup when they lost 4-0 Angolan side Petro Atletico to exit the competition.
