Accra, June 21, GNA - Referee El- Beltagy Reda Ahmed of has been appointed by the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) to handle the World Cup-qualifying match between the Black Stars of Ghana and the Cranes of Uganda.
The match, which, has been scheduled for July 4, at the Mandela National Stadium in the Ugandan capital, Kampala will see two other Egyptians assisting the referee Reda Ahmed on the lines.
They are Haggag Azab Ibrahim and Abdoul-Dayim Khalid Mourgan on lines one and two respectively with another Egyptian referee, Helal Mohamed Kamal as the fourth referee.
Ismael Kemal Ismael of Ethiopia will be the Referees Inspector whilst Kamal Shedad of Sudan will be the match commissioner. The Stars after the three nil drubbing of South Africa at the Kumasi Sports Stadium left Accra on Monday for Mozambique to play in a friendly against the Mozambicans on Friday, June 25, before they fly to Uganda for the match.
