Kpando based Premiership side Heart of Lions are on the verge of missing the services of aggressive goal poacher Eric Bekoe, has the young Ghanaian forward is on the shopping list of four European clubs.
Bekoe, who joined Lions in the second half of the 2006/7 Premier League from Dansoman based Liberty Professionals, scored ten times in his fifteen games appearance to help the Kpando lads place fourth on the league table after leaders Hearts of Oak, Ashantigold and third placed Asante Kotoko in the Onetouch League.
The four clubs, Bundesliga side Monchenglabach, Polish and French sides as well as Israel’s Hapoel Kfar Saba are all in high spirits of acquiring the signature of the young Ghanaian.
However, information gathered from officials of Heart of Lions, indicates that Bekoe, who also forms part of Black Stars French trainer Claude Le Roy nucleus playing staff, may opt for the Israeli club since he may it more convenient due to the existence of Ghana’s duo Abubakar Yahuza and striker Samuel Yeboah, who also feature for Heart of Lions before joining the Israeli side.
The player, who will be leaving the shores of Ghana for Israel on Thursday evening, will miss his club’s participation in the CAF Confederation Cup next season should his deal go through.
