Ex.Co ratifies sanctions against referees

The Executive Committee of the Ghana Football Association at its meeting held on Friday October 21, 2011 has ratified the recommendations from the Referees Review Panel.

Case - Tema Youth vs Asante Kotoko

Mr. Vincent Otoo - Failure to keep pace with the game resulting in his inability to award Asante Kotoko a penalty.

Mr. Isaac Effah Tetteh - Failure to draw the referee's attention to an obvious penalty incident despite being much closer to the scene than the referee.

Decision

Mr. Vincent Otoo, referee for the Tema Youth vs. Asante Kotoko match played on October 9, 2011 at the Tema Sports Stadium has been banned for four (4) weeks with effect from the 3rd week of the Glo Premier League.

Mr. Isaac Effah Tetteh, assistant referee for the Tema Youth vs. Asante Kotoko match played on October 9, 2011 at the Tema Sports Stadium has been banned for the rest of the first round of the Glo Premier League.

Case - Medeama vs Wa All Stars

Mr Ali Musah Plato - For denying Medeama SC a penalty kick
