Maxwell Konadu has encouraged veterans in the Ghana Premier League to keep up with their performance for a prospective surprise return to the Black Stars.
The Black Stars assistant coach was amongst the distinguished guests that witnessed the thrilling goalless draw between Great Olympics and Hearts of Oak in the Accra derby on Sunday.
The likes of Richard Kingson, Godwin Attram and Dan Quaye who lined up for Olympics have been praised for helping attract the massive crowd for the game.
Maxwell Konadu, however, wants them to keep improving their form as they could even land a return to the Black Stars.
“They should go on and keep their performances up. In this life you can never say never because you never know what happens tomorrow,” Konadu said.
The experienced trio of Richard Kingson, Godwin Attram and Dan Quaye have all had stints with the Black Stars in the past.
Richard Kingson played for Ghana at the 2006 and 2010 World Cup finals.
Dan Quaye was also part of the Ghana squad that made its maiden World Cup appearance in 2006.
