Faisal beat Marsa to finish second

Ghana?s King Faisal ended their CAF Confederation cup campaign on Saturday on winning ways beating AS Marsa of Tunisia 2-1.

But King Faisal missed out of the grand finale despite their win and thus occupy the second spot with twelve points in group A, four points adrift Moroccan group leaders, Royal Armed Forces.

Faisal?s Mohammed Habib opened the scoring for the visitors after 71 minutes before Eric Gawu doubled the advantage eight minutes later.

But in stoppage time, Tarek Ben Chrouda converted a penalty to give the home side a consolation goal.

In the other group match, Morocco's Royal Armed Forces ensured they finished the group stages of the Confederation Cup unbeaten as they defeated Fello Star 1-0 in Guinea.

While AS Marsa finished third in the group, Fello Star had a group stage to forget.

The Guinean side lost every Group A match they played and only managed to score two goals in those six games.

The Moroccans will play in the final with Group B leaders Dolphin of Nigeria who booked their place in the Confederation Cup final drawing 0-0 with Egypt's Ismaili on Sunday.
