Kumasi, Sept 7, GNA - King Faisal Coach, Oti Akenten has called for maximum support and prayers for his team as they meet the Royal Armed Forces of Morocco (FAR) to seek a revenge of the 2-1 defeat handed them in their first leg of the Confederation Cup match in Accra about three weeks ago.
He said just as FAR surprised them in Accra, so was Faisal going to surprise the Moroccans at their own back yard in Rabat. Speaking to the GNA Sports in Kumasi, Coach Oti Akenten said, "We have had adequate training and preparation and the rest now rests with Ghanaians to rally solidly behind us and also pray for us since football sometimes thrives on luck".
He said he was not happy that his defence lost concentration in the course of the first leg match that allowed the Moroccans to score the two goals against them.
"We have scored in almost all our away matches since we started the competition and we will therefore rely on this impressive away performance to snatch a win in Sunday's match.
He said his team was also resolved to win this year's Premier League, stressing that now that the team was on top of the league table, they were not going to relinquish the top spot to any team. Coach Oti Akenten called on the supporters of the Club to be committed to the progress and development of the team.
