Ghana goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has expressed interest in joining South African Premier League club Platinum Stars next season, according to a report by KickOff.com.
The report claims the representative of Dauda has contacted Platinum Stars over a possible move but may not be able to secure a deal for the 29-year-old because they already has a foreign goalkeeper, Kabelo Dambe from Botswana.
The ex-Orlando Pirates shot-stopper penned a short-term contract with Ashanti Gold late last year following a brief stay at Chippa United.
Fatau Dauda was a member of the Ghana’s 23-man squad that participated in the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations but never had a playing opportunity at the continental competition.
