... moves to Gaziantepspor
ISTANBUL - Fenerbahce sacked Ghanaian international defender Samuel Johnson as part of the changes demanded by new German coach Christophe Daum.
The 30-year-old had been with Fenerbahce since 1999 and scored 18 goals.
Daum has been brought in to revive Fenerbahce who finished sixth in the Turkish league last season, more than 30 points behind champions and arch-rivals Besiktas.
The defender said that he would now concentrate on his Turkish club career with Gaziantepspor since the Black stars failed to qualify for the Nations Cup.
