Fiorentina and Manchester City are interested in acquiring the services of Udinese midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, according to the player's agent.
The 22-year-old played in every match for Ghana at last year's World Cup in South Africa, and already has 22 international appearances to his name.
Now the player's representative, Claudio Vagheggi, has claimed that the Eastlands oufit have shown an interest in his client.
"I cannot deny that there are several clubs interested," Vagheggi is quoted by the Manchester Evening News as saying.
"Manchester City? It’s true but they are not the only ones interested in Asamoah. Fiorentina were among the first to show an interest in the player."
