Forest hopeful over Agogo

Nottingham Forest boss Colin Calderwood is hopeful injured striker Junior Agogo will return in time for pre-season training.

Agogo missed the final ten games of Forest's season with a serious pelvic injury and was ordered to rest for three months.

Forest's other long-term casualties Sammy Clingan (broken ankle) and Nathan Tyson (knee ligament) are expected to be back for pre-season training at the beginning of July and Calderwood is hopeful Agogo can follow suit.

"We're hoping that Junior will be okay for the start of pre-season, although he may have to be slightly guided through it," he told Homebase Media.

"It's complete rest for him until the early part of June and then he's going to have to build-up his fitness from there.

"But by the time we report back for pre-season training he'll be able to do something and hopefully he'll get through enough work in pre-season to feel as though he hasn't missed it."
