Former Hearts of Oak shot-stopper, Clement Ashittey, has joined Ethiopian top-flight league side Dedebit.

The Ghanaian is reported to have signed a two-year deal with the Addis Ababa-based side ahead of their new campaign which will begin on October 29.

The young shot-stopper has already started pre-season with his Ethiopian side, and he is looking forward to hit the ground running ahead of his new challenge.

Ashittey, four seasons ago, was the number one man for Hearts of Oak’s junior side before he was promoted to the club’s senior team the following season during coach David Duncan’s era.

He was then transferred to Amidaus Professionals in the 2013/14 league; he has also had a short stint with South African side Bidvest Witsel.
