Four players sat out of the Black Stars' training session in Abu Dhabi on Monday afternoon because of fitness problems.
Isaac Vorsah, Albert Adomah, Rabiu Mohammed and Anthony Annan all watched the training at the Zayed Sports Complex from the sidelines because of injury concerns or knocks.
Vorsah missed the training session after pulling out of Sunday's friendly against Tunisia at the last minute because of some pains in his thigh.
Mohammed also watched the training from the sidelines after being taken off during the match against the Carthage Eagles.
Ghana team doctor Baba Adam has taken the two players to a local Abu Dhabi hospital for further tests to determine the extent of injury.
Adomah had a knock during the match against Tunisia and he was excluded from training as a precautionary measure to ensure that he fully recovers from the knock.
Annan will continue to undergo treatment on his ankle after tests revealed that he is on course for recovery despite some pains.
The Spain-based player was taken off during Thursday's 3-0 African Cup of Nations warm up win over Egypt in Abu Dhabi.
The midfielder fell awkwardly when he went for a challenge in the first half of the match at the Zayed Sports City.
All the four players are being monitored to ensure that they are fully fit for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Black Stars are training in Abu Dhabi ahead of their participation in the tournament in South Africa.
