English Premier League side Fulham are closing in on their move for Ghana star Derek Boateng after securing a work permit.
The Cottagers have been locked in negotiations with Ukrainians FC Dnipro for the 29-year-old versatile midfielder who has joined Ghana’s AFCON squad.
Boateng passed medicals in London last week and has reportedly concluded personal talks with Martin Jol’s side.
While Boateng is away with Ghana at the 2013 AFCON, Fulham will continue talks with Dnipro to finalise his switch to the Craven Cottage.
Fulham have been on the Ghana star’s trail since last summer, as have a number of clubs including West Brom.
