Fulham sign Frimpong on loan

Fulham have signed Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong on loan until the end of the season.

The 21-year-old spent six weeks on loan at Championship side Charlton earlier this season, where he made six appearances for the Addicks.

The Ghanaian seriously injured his knee while at Wolves last season, and spent seven months recuperating from the problem.

An Arsenal statement read: "Everyone at the club wishes Emmanuel the best of luck during his time with Fulham."

Frimpong has made 16 appearances for the Gunners since signing professional terms at the Emirates Stadium in 2009, while he is yet to score a professional goal.
