The 2024-2025 football season in the Greater Accra Region promises to be thrilling, as the Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) has announced a renewed partnership with Ashlid Enterprise for the official match balls of the season.

The Ashlid Ball will be the ball of choice across all matches, continuing a dynamic collaboration that began in the 2021-2022 GARFA Division Two Middle League.

At a vibrant launch event at Accra Sports Stadium on Tuesday, GARFA Chairman Samuel Aboabire expressed his excitement, applauding Ashlid Enterprise and its CEO, Fredrick Aglago Atsu, for their enduring support.

"Atsu always operated behind the scenes, saying, ‘Oh chairman, I’m just helping,’" Aboabire recalled, celebrating the mutual commitment to excellence.

The new Ashlid Orbita Ball features a cutting-edge 8-panel construction designed to boost player performance in all weather conditions.

Its sleek white body with bold red stripes also proudly showcases GARFA’s colours, while special designs will be used in the Women’s and Middle Leagues.

Over the next three years, GARFA clubs will receive a total of 1,800 footballs, ensuring every team is equipped to compete at the highest level.

As Aboabire highlighted, "Football is all about the balls! Starting from match day one, across 40 exhilarating matches in Greater Accra, Ashlid balls will reign supreme at all venues!"

Ashlid Enterprise stands tall as Ghana's premier sports equipment company, renowned for an impressive range of products, including jerseys, gloves, training bibs, cones, footballs, boots, and captain armbands.

As a trusted supplier, Ashlid has equipped numerous juvenile clubs and first-tier teams like WAFA SC, Dreams FC, and Liberty Professionals, alongside second-tier clubs such as BYF Academy and Heart of Lions.

They also proudly serve as the official headline sponsor for Alajo United Football Club.
