Ghana Football Association Vice president, George Afriyie has revealed the FA has settled any impasse with the Youth and Sports Minister.

Both parties have not being in good terms with issues regards to the Black Stars, issue of winning bonus and the issue of media utterances. The South African arranged a friendly match with Ghana and it was reported that the SFA will play the GFA an amount of $150.000.00 but the youth and sports minister asked the GFA to demand more he call off the match.

Some section of the FA members slammed the minister for asking them to do something that he has no authority to decide for the FA. Ahead of the Uganda’s clash, the minister took the lead to Temale before the members of the FA even got there.

With no doubt, the GFA and the Ministry of Youth and Sports has a huge fiction between them but George Afriyie who is also a close ally to the former GBC worker says they have settled any impasse.

“After the match, we met the Nii Lante Vanderpuye to discuss about the South Africa friendly and everything went on well but I must say that we have settled any impasse with the minister.” George told Asempa FM.
