GFA To Hand Over To IMC

After the Ghana Football Associations (GFA) congress tomorrow, Mr E.A. Owusu Ansah, Mr Yaw La Danso and Mr W.K. Agra would take over as an Interim Management Committee members to run the F.A. before the Minister of Sports nominates his choice for the F.A.'s chairmanship job.

This was the outcome of the GFA's Executive Council's meeting yesterday which also ended the mandate of Alhaji M.N.D. Jawula's management team.

The three-man committee will, in the interim , be in charge of the F.A.'s affairs awaiting the ministers two nominees for one to be approved by the Executive Council.

The Executive Council also confirmed E.A. Owusu Ansah GHALCA vice chairman elect which also gives him the automatic position of the vice chairmanship seat of the F.A. and Yaw La Danso, GHALCA nominee as management board members of the in coming F.A.

The Council also called for an update of the disbursement of the FIFA development fund, which has attracted much questions from the media.

It also instituted a three-member committee made of Fred Pappoe, Oteng Arthur and Kwasi Nyantakyi to re-examine the F.A.'s acquired office building project.

Mr Jordan Anagblah, division two representative on the Executive Council and Richard Quarshie were both mandated by the Council to investigate the Black Queens, the nations female teams per diem impasse during the Women's Championships hosted by South Africa.

There was also recommendations to enhance the agreement deal between the F.A and L-Sporto, the yet to be kit sponsors of the national teams.

Amendments of the GFA's regulations was also considered for approval by congress tomorrow.

The final blow went to Black Satellites head coach,E.K Afranie whom his management committee have complained about, the IMC was tasked to investigate for an amicable settlement.
