Accra, May 14, GNA - The Management Board of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has sent a goodwill message to the four Ghanaian Clubs participating in the CAF organised competitions this weekend.
Dr. Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe, Chairman of the GFA in a statement said the association and the entire football fraternity is extending their full support to the executives, officials and players of the clubs - Accra Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and King Faisal, as they take on their opponents in their respective competitions this week-end.
Kumasi Asante Kotoko is expected to take on USMA of Algeria in Algiers, whilst Accra Hearts of Oak host Etoile Sportive du' Sahel of Tunisia at the Accra Sports Stadium in the CAF Champions League competition.
Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals will also take on Stade du' Tunis of Tunisia at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday while Kumasi King Faisal will also be battling it out with Santos club of South Africa all in the CAF Cup competitions.
The statement urged the playing body to be well focused, disciplined and resolute on the field of play.
It added "We expect nothing but total victory at the end of your respective matches and the whole nation pray for your success."
