GHALCA gives to Hearts

Accra, Nov. 20, GNA - The Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) has made donation of various items worth over 10 million cedis to Accra Hearts of Oak in preparations for their impending game against Kumasi Asante Kotoko in the historic finals of the Confederations Cup competition.

The items include a live cow, crates of minerals, cartons of bottled water, energy drinks, a bag of rice and other food items. The presentation took place after the 14th Week Premier League match between Liberty Professionals and Accra Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.

The donations is to serve as source of motivation to Hearts towards their two leg final games scheduled for the Accra Sports Stadium against Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the Accra and Kumasi Sports stadium respectively.

Mr Joseph Yaw Appiah, Chairman of GHALCA made the presentation on behalf of the Association whilst Alhaji Suleiman Braimah (Alhaji Hearts), a member of the Board of Directors of Hearts received the items on behalf of the club.

GHALCA is the mother body of Ghanaian clubs and will make similar donations to Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday November 21, at Sunyani.
