The coaches are Abdul Mumuni Gamel, Head Coach of Real Tamale United (RTU) football club and Steven Frimpong Manso, former assistant coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, now Technical Director of Kesben Soccer Academy. The course, which ends on October 31, is being organised by the German Federation for coaches from developing countries.

Mumuni Gamel and Frimpong Manso will be joining 28 coaches from other developing countries for the one-month course.

The Ghana Football Association, (GFA) following requests from the German Federation selected the two coaches from some local coaches to participate in the course.

During the course, the participants will be attached to some Bundesliga clubs in Germany to gain more practical experience. Speaking after RTU had eliminated Liberty Professionals from the on going GHALCA Special Tournament last Sunday in Accra, Mumuni Gamel told the GNA Sports that the opportunity will enable him enhance his knowledge in the coaching profession.

He said this is the first time a coach from the northern sector is having such an opportunity to embark on a coaching course and promised to make use of the offer.
