George Amoako Declares His Support For Nyantakyi

The Chief Exective Officer of King Faisal Babies has thrown his support behind Acting chairman for Ghana Football Association Kwasi Nyantakyi ahead of elections for FA president.

Speaking to Space fm in Sunyani this morning, the soft spoken CEO said under Nyantakyi`s administration Ghana football has achieve a lot and he sees no reason why he should not be allowed to continue his good works. Although Nyantakyi is yet to confirm whether he will contest for the FA presidency George Amoako is confident the acting GFA chairman is the right person for the job. Ghana qualified to participate in FIFA world cup for the first time under the administration of Kwasi Nyantakyi and many Ghanaians think the winning team should be maintained and Uncle George does not think different. It?s not just our qualification for the World Cup but anyone with eyes would that Ghana Soccer under Nyantakyi is achieving even, the unthinkable.

He also disclosed to Spacefm that he will contest for a position in the executive committee of Ghana football Association and will contest for the FA presidency in future but not this year as is being speculated in certain quarters.

Asked whether he has any intention to contest for the CEO of Kotoko, Mr.Amoako said he is still a supporter of Kotoko but has no intention of contesting for the hot seat. ?I want to make a mark at King Faisal and for now I?m going to concentrate on that? he said.
