hana Football Association says it will not reveal the names of scouts tasked to help head coach Milovan Rajevac at the World Cup finals in South Africa citing security concerns.
Two top-class local coaches with national team experience and an expatriate coach, recommended by Milovan Rajevac, have been picked as espionage.
The trio will help the Ghana bench with news on Group D opponents Australia, Germany and Serbia.
“We have appointed scouts. We have decided to keep it our chests because of some security concerns that we raised about making the names of scouts public and this was heightened by the recent attack on the property of the coach in Serbia and we thought that if we expose their identities, they may be exposed to risks,” Ghana FA President Nyantakyi said.
“They are already on the ground. They have submitted their programmes which have been approved by the FA. We have discussed their terms of engagement and their mandate have been clearly determined.”
Ghana play Serbia in their tournament opener on 13 June before facing Australia and Germany.
