Togo coach Tchakala Tchanie admits his side was outclassed by a united team in their 3-1 defeat to Ghana in the final 2015 AFCON qualifier on Wednesday.
The Hawks were clobbered by a determined Black Stars side who sealed qualification to next year’s AFCON finals before their home fans in Tamale.
Togo could only manage a consolation goal through Prince Segbefia as they slumped to the expected defeat.
The losing side’s coach Tchakala Tchanie concedes his team were overpowered by a united Black Stars side.
“Ghana was one team, they played compact and all of them try to fight together,” he said after the game.”
“You could see from the first half they wanted to win and I think all the eleven players on the field worked hard for the team to win.”
Ghana progress to the 2015 AFCON finals as winners of Group E having won three, drawn two and lost one in the six matches played throughout the campaign.
