Kevin Prince Boateng has told KickOffGhana.com he is thrilled by the prospect of playing his first game on Ghanaian soil.
The AC Milan midfielder became a fully-fledged Ghana international in June 2010, after representing Germany at youth level.
But he is yet to play a game at home having missed the 2012 Nations Cup qualifier against Sudan last year.
In fact, five of his eight caps for Ghana have come in South Africa, but he will finally get to play in front of Ghana fans on Friday, June 3.
"My friends have told me a lot about playing at home and I am looking forward to it. I really hope the fans will show the Black Stars a lot of love and that above all we can win because that is the most important thing," he says.
