Four Ghanaian players are gunning for the CAF Confederation Cup title with DR Congo giants TP Mazembe who face Tunisian side CS Sfaxien in the final of the competition.

Mazembe is in Tunisia for the first-leg on Saturday evening.

The Lubumbashi-based side who have maintained a perfect run in their six games in all competitions has travelled to Rades to face the Tunisian side at the Stade Olympique de Radès.

Black Stars pair of Solomon Asante and Richard Kissi-Boateng played hugely influential role in the Ravens campaign at the group stages playing almost every game for the side.

Midfielder Daniel Nii Adjei who joined the side from Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko is significant in the success of Mazembe.

Former Ghana U20 midfielder, Gladson Awako has mainly been used as a second half substitute by French trainer Patrice Carteron and is expected to star in the first-leg clash in Tunisia.

Asante, who has lost his place in the Ghana squad, remains the best Ghanaian talent player in the Mazembe side and he has scored twice and set up four goals in the competition for Mazembe.

Mazembe has clashed with Sfaxien twice in the competition, with each side winning their home games but Sfaxien sailed through on a better goal aggregate.

Former Great Olympics defender Seth Konadu is a key member of the CS Sfaxien team.
